One Direction are to reportedly receive some of Barack Obama's former security personnel.
The UK boyband will be given several members of the president's top bodyguards for their upcoming US tour, according to The Sun
The appointment has allegedly been made by tour chiefs, as they are concerned about hardcore One Direction fans seeking the newly-single Liam Payne.
Payne is said to have split from dancer Danielle Peazer after three years together.
The US tour kicks off in Florida on June 13, with fan websites supposedly posting details of the boyband's hotels.
An insider said: "Liam becoming single has made things even more fraught. Some of the security staff have worked with Obama and in war zones."
A different security team will also reportedly be delivered to Madame Tussauds to keep watch over the One Direction waxworks, which will be on display in New York.
Harry Styles was recently severely mobbed by a crowd after leaving a hotel in Paris.
