A lawyer for Michael Jackson's estate has responded to choreographer Wade Robson's allegations that he was molested by the late star.
Robson has filed legal documents seeking a late creditor claim against the Jackson estate, and has made claims that he was abused by Jackson when he was a child
The choreographer had previously denied any impropriety while testifying in Jackson's separate 2005 child molestation trial, and paid tribute to the 'Thriller' singer following his death.
Howard Weitzman – a legal representative for the Jackson estate – has now responded to Robson's allegations in a statement to TMZ.
"Mr Robson's claim is outrageous and pathetic. This is a young man who has testified at least twice under oath over the past 20 years and said in numerous interviews that Michael Jackson never did anything inappropriate to him or with him," Weitzman commented.
His statement continued: "Now, nearly four years after Michael has passed, this sad and less than credible claim has been made… We are confident that the court will see this for what it is."
Jackson's former attorney Tom Mesereau told the website that he is also skeptical of Robson's claims, insisting: "Michael never touched Robson inappropriately in any way."
The late popstar was famously acquitted of separate molestation charges in 2005.
Robson has not yet offered any public comment on the new allegations.
