E! News' Twitter Account Gets Hacked, Says Justin Bieber Is Gay

The saying "you can't believe everything you read" is especially true when it comes to what you read online — no matter how legit the source seems. For example, if you were an avid Twitter follower of E! Online and happened to be scrolling through your feed Sunday afternoon, you may have seen this breaking news

Justin Bieber gay!? That's big news right? Wrong. The tweets were posted after E!'s Twitter account was hacked by an organization called the Syrian Electronic Army, a hacker group aligned with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. One would assume based on this tweet..

...that the group was attempting to draw attention to a political cause. But the links provided with every hacked tweet just sent curious clickers to malware sites. Apparently, they just wanted to screw with Bieber fans.
