Justin Bieber threatened with lawsuit by photographer?

Justin Bieber is being threatened with a lawsuit over his entourage's alleged confrontation with a photographer in Miami.

Gustavo Garces turned over an audio tape to the press in early June that appeared to document Bieber allegedly ordering his security to seize Garces's camera outside the Hit Factory studio.

Bieber is accused of ultimately consenting to return the paparazzo's camera, but only after taking Garces's memory card so that no pictures of the incident could surface.

A lawyer representing Garces has now sent a legal letter to Bieber demanding the return of the memory card, according to TMZ.

Garces is apparently preparing a lawsuit against the 'Never Say Never' singer, and wants to use the memory card as evidence.

His lawyer warned Bieber that there would be "dire consequences" if the memory card was wiped, as that would be tampering with evidence.

Bieber has not responded to the legal request at this time.

His security team were involved in two other run-ins with photographers as well in the last few weeks, with a member of his entourage accused of choking another photographer outside the same Miami recording studio.

They were also probed by police for allegedly trying to stop a fan from taking pictures of Bieber in Hollywood.
