However, the Fugees rapper has since told TMZ via his representatives that he has "no intention" to record with Bynes.
Wyclef Jean's spokesperson added that he has not even ever spoken to Bynes in the past.
Herman recently said of Bynes's LP: "This album is going to shock the world. She has such a great voice. Singers wish they could hit the notes that Amanda does."
Avril Lavigne has also dismissed rumours that she will record a duet with Amanda Bynes.
