All 4 'American Idol' Judges Reportedly Getting the Axe

Do you like American Idol this season? If so, it feels like you're in the minority, doesn't it? The Voice is the cooler, younger show. Idol's ratings keep slipping. The judges are not generally celebrated in the media, and those oooold song selections are really wearing thin.

Apparently Idol producers agree with all that because the word is they'll be doing away with this season's entire judging panel and completely making over the show, according to The Wrap. Gone are Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and even Randy Jackson, and the salaries they demand.

"All four are gone," an unnamed source told The Wrap. "They feel they've lost their core audience and they want it back."

It sounds like the revamped Idol is going to focus primarily on the contestants and the performances because the source says there will be "no more big checks for divas."

Even executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is out.

The show's format is also said to be changing because they'll finally be throwing out those stodgy old tribute nights (sorry Smokey Robinson!), which is a signal that maybe producers will finally be going down a more contemporary path. But don't worry fans, the Idol auditions process is staying the same.

One Direction's Impromptu 'I Want It That Way' Cover Earns Praise from the Backstreet Boys

During a Twitter Q&A at One Direction's concert in Stockholm, Sweden on May 8th, a fan requested the band break into a cover of the Backstreet Boys classic "I Want It That Way." Naturally, the group delivered, even if Liam seemed to be the only singer with the confidence to attempt a verse. Though some Backstreet Boys fans were less than impressed, the original band approved, tweeting, "Heard @OneDirection did an impromtu performance of "I Want It That Way" in Sweden last night. Well done bros!"

Heidi Klum 'doesn't understand constant engagement rumours

Heidi Klum has admitted that she is annoyed by persistent rumours that she is engaged to boyfriend Martin Kristen.

The America's Got Talent judge spoke out earlier this month to deny any engagement after she was spotted wearing a new Tiffany diamond ring.
In an interview with ET Online, Klum was once again asked if she and Kirsten have any plans to tie the knot.

"Um, no," she replied. "Why does everyone think I'm getting married? I'm not getting married, everybody! OK? I'm very happy right now."

Klum confirmed that she was dating her former bodyguard in September 2012, several months after she split from Seal.

Seal had initially outed his estranged wife's new relationship with Kristen last autumn.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West 'disagree over raising baby in France'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are allegedly at odds over where to raise their child.

West has been travelling back-and-forth between Los Angeles and Paris to record new music for his upcoming album.

A source told Life & Style that a rift has developed between the couple over West's preference for Kardashian to move to Paris before she gives birth over the summer.

"Kanye wants the baby born in Paris. He would love the baby to have dual citizenship," the insider claimed.

The informant went on to say: "Kanye is absolutely insistent that the baby will be raised in France, but Kim's refusing to let that happen.

"It's so important for her to be near her family and have the baby grow up around its aunts, uncles and cousins. There's no way she'll stop fighting Kanye on this."

West has apparently bought a penthouse in Paris to raise the baby, but the purchase has not deterred Kardashian's desire to stay in LA.

"They were supposed to spend just three months [on holiday] in Paris. Now he wants to move them permanently to Paris," the source said.

"Kim is against the idea and wants the baby born in LA with the family doctor who delivered Mason and Penelope... Kanye isn't happy. But he doesn't think he can win this one."

The couple made a rare joint appearance earlier in the week to attend the Met Ball in New York City, with West serenading Kardashian during his performance.
